Company Background

When Clearwater Pool & Spa Co., Inc. opened it’s doors in January of l996, my goal was to offer quality pool & spa products & the best service in the area at competitive prices.  To this end, I have researched the product field thoroughly & come up with, I believe, the best products currently available to the consumer.  Our service technicians all have numerous years in the business & are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of pool & spa maintenance.

I believe my diverse background has been a positive factor in the management of Clearwater.   My family had been in the construction business in Talbot County for many years before I opened my own construction company in the l970’s.  This prepared me for the pool building element of the business.    As store manager for a nationwide automotive parts store chain, the mechanical element needed to care for pool filtration systems, pumps & motors was added.  Later, I went to work for a local pool company as a service technician, a position I kept until promoted to service manager.  I remained service manager until my decision to open Clearwater.

While my customer base has steadily grown since opening, my desire to continue to provide quality products & service at competitive prices has stayed just as it was the day I opened.  My goal is not to be the biggest, but the best pool company in the area.
